Four Corners Chinese Medicine, formerly Wellspring Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, is the evolution of a model of Chinese medical practice in cultivation for over 16 years. Four Corners is a health-based, simplified, results oriented Chinese medicine practice providing wellness care to the four corners region of the American southwest. Our clinic services are provided in Durango, Colorado.

David Konikowski is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified clinical herbalist. He graduated with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSOM) in 2003. He has maintained diplomate status from the NCCAOM in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbolog. David has been in private practice in Arizona since 2003 and Colorado since 2011.
A life-long naturalist, David has dedicated his entire adult life to the study of natural health and human sciences. In addition to his ongoing study and development of Chinese medical theory and practice, David spends his free time growing food in the Animas Valley and studying, collecting, and co-habitating with the wild and medicinal plants of the American Southwest.
David’s purpose is to live a path of Heart-based care of self, family, and community through the lens of Chinese medical thought. His mission of service is to promote and protect the health and vitality of his family, his community, and everyone he’s fortunate enough to serve! Every day, he strives to both educate and actively engage the self-healing capacity of his clients, empowering them to live resilient and fulfilling lives!

Although we do not work with major insurance providers, we do work with you to come up with a comprehensive and personalized care plan and a financial arrangement that works for you.

Where is your office located?
We are conveniently located north of downtown Durango, Colorado, just off Florida Rd. at 2530 Colorado Avenue, Durango, CO 81301. There is plenty of free parking for patients at our building.
Do any treatments interfere with my prescription medications?
Generally speaking, herbs and pharmaceutical drugs function in the body in different ways. We have found that Chinese Herbal Medicine combines very well with prescription medication with very few herb drug interactions. There are specific herbs and drugs that should not be used together. These are well known to the herbalist at Four Corners Chinese Medicine.
