Frequently asked questions

How can I figure out if your treatments will work for me?

One of the best ways for us to determine if my approach is right for you is for us to meet. You can call our office at +1-(970) 382-0321 or schedule a 30 minute initial consultation here. During this screening we will get to know each other. I'll do a brief yet insightful exam to learn more about your body function. I will learn about your specific concerns and explore if and how Chinese Medicine can be of service. The fee for this initial consultation is typically $50.00. From time to time we choose to offer a lower rate or provide these initial screenings in exchange for a donation to a local non-profit organization which is one of the ways we give back to the local community.

Do you accept insurance?

Although we do not work with major insurance providers, we do work with you to come up with a comprehensive and personalized care plan and a financial arrangement that works for you. We are in netwrok with Veterans Affairs.

Do any treatments interfere with my prescription medications?

Generally speaking, herbs and pharmaceutical drugs function in the body in different ways. We have found that Chinese Herbal Medicine combines very well with prescription medication with very few herb drug interactions. There are specific herbs and drugs that should not be used together. These are well known to the herbalist at Four Corners Chinese Medicine. Patients ask about using acupuncture while on blood thinners and an increased risk for bleeding. While theoretically it is true, we find that this is not a probelm in the clinic. These are perfectly safe to use together.
