Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if Chinese medicine is right for me?

The best way to determine if our approach is right for you is to schedule a new patient consultation. Call our office at +1-(970) 382-0321 or email info@fourcornerschinesemedicine.com to schedule this visit. After scheduling, we will email you paperwork to fill out and return to us before your visit. We will confirm your appt and reason for pursuing our services by phone before the day of your visit. Using the four examinations common to Chinese medical practice, David will learn more about your unique health profile, make the relevant Chinese medical diagnoses for your specific concerns, and outline a treatment plan for you.

Do you accept insurance?

Although we do not work with major insurance providers, we do work with you to come up with a comprehensive and personalized care plan and a financial arrangement that works for you. We are in netwrok with Veterans Affairs.

Do any treatments interfere with my prescirption medications?

Generally speaking, herbs and pharmaceutical drugs function in the body in different ways. We have found that Chinese Herbal Medicine combines very well with prescription medication with very few herb drug interactions. There are specific herbs and drugs that should not be used together. These are well known to the herbalist at Four Corners Chinese Medicine. Patients ask about using acupuncture while on blood thinners and an increased risk for bleeding. While theoretically it is true, we find that this is not a probelm in the clinic. These are perfectly safe to use together.
